Groupe de Black Metal allemand fondé en 1989 sous le nom de Dissection, suite au succès du Dissection norvégien, le groupe changea de nom en 1993, après avoir sorti 2 démos. Le groupe a splitté en 2000 après avoir enregistré un album "Extazia" chez Necropolis Records, qui n'a jamais vu le jour car le label a fait faillite.

Biographie
Tsatthoggua est le nom d'un ancien Dieu dans l'œuvre de Howard Philips Lovecraft. Il est décrit comme "...la grenouille noire, terreur des ténèbres ...". Il est gigantesque est très puissant. De plus il a des ailes et un corps profondément sombre et terrifiant.
