Groupe de Black Metal thaïlandais fondé en 1996 et originaire de Bangkok.

Biographie

1996 : Surrender Of Divinity se forme à Bangkok autour de Monchai (chant), Whathayakorn (guitares), Ekaluxx (basse) et Paritat (batterie).

1997 : Le groupe enregistre sa première démo, limitée à 20 copies et distribuée seulement aux proches et à quelques fanzines locaux.

1998 : Après quelques mois de compositions et répétitions, le groupe commence à jouer live et se taille rapidement une bonne réputation en Thailande. Cependant, Ekaluxx décide de s'en aller mais est immédiatement remplacé par Settha. Une fois ce problème de line-up réglé, Surrender Of Divinity se rend dans une salle de répétition locale pour y enregistrer sa première démo officielle sur un quatre pistes. Les retours sont positifs mais le groupe connait à nouveau des soucis de personnel : Monchai et Settha s'en vont et cèdent leur place au revenant Ekaluxx, cette fois-ci au chant, et à Avaejee à la basse.

2000 : Suite à une tournée en Malaisie et à Singapour, Surrender Of Divinity signe sur Psychic Scream Entertainement et sort son premier album intitulé "Oriental Hell Rhytmics". Avaejee quitte le groupe, poussant Ekaluxx a assumer le double poste de chanteur et bassiste pour les tournées suivantes (avec notamment Sodom et Impiety en Thailande ou Dark Funeral en Malaisie).

2003 : Ekaluxx décide de s'en aller une fois encore et Monchai reprend le poste de chanteur pour le EP "Immolating The Son Of The Whore" (sorti sur le label français Legion Of Death Records). Puis le chanteur repart de son coté suivi par Paritat.

2004 : Avaejee fait son retour en tant que chanteur/bassiste, puis c'est Xulaynus qui est recruté comme batteur. Le nouveau line-up enregistre le split "Two Majesties" avec Impiety (sorti chez Unholy Horde Records).

2005 : Surrender Of Divinity signe un contrat de deux albums avec From Beyond Productions. Le premier fruit de cette collaboration se nomme "Manifest Blasphemy : The Abortion Of The Immaculate Conception".
