Sarcófago est un groupe de Thrash Metal brésilien formé en 1985 à Belo Horizonte.

L'influence de Sarcófago sur la scène Black Metal est considérable, le groupe étant l'un des premiers à aborder des thématiques sombres et macabres. Le groupe brésilien est considéré par certains comme l'un des pionniers du Black Metal, au même titre que Venom, Bathory, ou Celtic Frost ...
